Does vegan chocolate taste gross?!
Does vegan chocolate taste gross?
Answers:
No it taste just fine. It is just dark chocolate, and it does not have milk in it. The problems is everyone is use to eating milk chocolate so you taste buds will be weird for a min but you will love it or hate it. No harm in trying! Good Luck!

I am a vegan and I make vegan chocolate chip brownies all the time!
Vegan chocolate tastes similar to any other dark chocolate. Pure cocoa is vegan anyway. Vegan chocolate chips taste just like non-vegan chocolate chips, as well.
I've heard there is vegan "milk" chocolate, but I haven't tried it yet. And some vegans eat carob instead of chocolate, if that's what you're thinking of, but that's a personal preference or religious thing (ex: ISKCON followers) rather than having to do with veganism.
If I remember correctly YES, IT DOES!!
I must admit the only vegan chocolate I've had is in Tofutti's Cuties (little ice cream sandwiches). They taste GREAT! I'm addicted. And I was/am a big chocolate fan before I made the transition to vegetarianism. But I love em.
Pure dark chocolate is the best tasting kind and it's vegan. Milk and too much sugar spoil the taste, imo. I dont know how it can be called chocolate if there's more sugar and milk butter in it, than cocoa.
No, I just buy dark chocolate and I find it nicer than milk chocolate...
Absolutely not.
try Green and Blacks dark cholcolate.
Well, if you're like me (label reader to the core!!!) Just look at the ingredients in some semi-sweet morsels. I personally don't care for dark chocolate, it has a chalky dry taste to me. I went with my mom to WalMart the other day, and got some semi-sweet baking chocolate chips, and they are VEGAN! Yes, some people would rather get chocolate with the label of Vegan on there, but if you read your labels, you'll find that alot of "regular foods" are vegan.
The morsels were DELICIOUS! And since they were baking, I melted some to make a fondue with my fruit. It was definitely a highlight!
Have fun, get your chocolate on, and read your labels, you'll be surprised how cheaply you'll find chocolate when it's not clearly labeled vegan. (because it is not solely made for vegans) and it is vegan friendly!
Hope this helped!
No, but probably taste lesser sweet than normal chocolate, after all its for vegan right?
Funny question, as chocolate is of course vegan.
Only cheap low quaIity mock chocolate such as milk chocolate all all those junk candybars found at the corner store contains non-vegan ingredients, additives, salt, colours, flavours, etc.
I think chocolate tastes great, but I know people who do not like chocolate at all.
