My friend and I ordered Steak Tartar and Veal parm, we were wearing leather jackets and fur, little wolf skin boots and smoking clove cigarettes and were told they wouldnt serve us.

If it was a vegan resturant , that I am sure that steak tartar and veal parm were not on the menu. Therefore you were not treated unfairly, they will not serve anyone food that is not on the menu.

It sounds like you were going out of your way to be anti-veg. If you're friendly and accept the type of restaurant, they will serve you. If you have issues with their menu, ask what they can do for you instead, accepting that they won't serve you meat or dairy.
