Does eating meat make a person mean negative and belligerent?!

Question:

Does eating meat make a person mean negative and belligerent?

Answers:
Yes, the word is colicky, and that is often used to describe a crabby person. If you have crap in your stomach that is putrefying, you will probably be in a worse mood than if you had fibre and soporific herbs in your stomach. The bowels are the source of a lot of illness so don't eat things you don't think will as easily come out the other end.

yes. and NOT eating meat makes them whiney, self-rightous, and annoying as hell. you just cant win i guess.

Choosing to be mean, negative and belligerent makes a person so. Food and eating don't come into it. Thankfully.

no but it does support the unneeded deaths of animals.

It has nothing to do with what you eat to make a person mean, negative and belligerent.

not necessarily, i know plenty of really nice people who just happen to eat meat. some of them get mean, negative, and belligerent towards veggies, but others are perfectly respectful of them. i try not to judge people by things like that, only on the way they treat me.

No, it upbringing, education, etc that make people who they are. Children who are not taught respect, grow into adults that have no respect. The cycle goes on and on until it is broken.

No, and any one who says that eating anything natural is makes you so is just trying to scare you into there way of thinking.

Short answer, no. I know far too many meat-eaters who are kind and sweet that it would be a disservice to them to say otherwise. If you can find a study to back up that assertion, then we could discuss it more intelligently. If you're just trying to persuade people to not eat meat, you're not going to get anywhere insulting people. If you're referring to some of the belligerent meat-eaters who mock us on this forum, they're thankfully in the minority of meat-eaters - and it's their bad attitude, not their diet causing that.

ChicaB: Your answer was hilarious! These stereotypes *are* quite silly, aren't they? :)

hmmm. odd question.
i guess i know both veggie and meat eaters who are cranky and belligerent.
guess it goes both ways

I don't think that is the case.
However, I do think that excessive
amounts of meat can cause you to
feel lethargic, less energetic, and
can be attributed to mysterious
headaches. I have no scientific
proof. My opinion is based on my
experience as a past meat eater
who experienced migraines,
lethargy, and agitation due to
a mainly animal based diet.
Now that I am vegan I never have
any of these problems.
