Vegatarian gone bad?
Has anyone out there ever been raised by vegatarian parents but turned into a meat eater, because that is what im doing now. Or do poeple only really do it the other way around?

I'm sure it happens a lot. Kids (when grown) tend to do the opposite of what their parents did whenever they are forced to live a certain way. For example, my father was very strict in some weird made-up religion... as an adult, I am not completely non-religious or atheist, but I do not identify with any particular religion. WHICH is exactly why, as a vegetarian (for 2yrs now), I will never force my daughter to be one. I will not cook meat, so she usually doesn't eat meat at home (unless she requests lunchmeat, etc), but she's free to eat it when we go out, at school, etc. She's 11 and while I'm not sure if she'll be a vegetarian or not, she will at least think about exactly what it is that she's eating (for instance, she grossed all her friends out when she told them that there was "boiled bones" in their marshmallows). :D
it happens all the time
be careful though your body is not use to digesting some of the stuff in meat so dont go over board take it slow to acclimate your body to the iron and chemicals in the meat
or you could get very sick
Your human everyone is differant!

a friend of mine grew up with vegan parents, but they didn't force her to eat a certain way, they let her chose what she wanted to eat. she ended up liking meat when she tried it as a little kid, and has been eating it since.
i'm a vegetarian, and am the only one in my entire family. i became one 7 years ago. a few members of my extended family kinda hassle me about it around the holidays, but i don't let it bother me. they just have to deal.
I dated a woman, who was raised vegetarian. On her 18th birthday she was finally able to try something "meaty." She ordered lobster, because she had heard such wonderful things about it. She took one bite and couldn't stand the texture. As long as I knew her, she never had meat again.
Many vegans raise their kids on a vegan diet, because they truly believe that is the best choice. But vegan parents are no dictators, usually once their child is old enough to make their own choices, they can eat what they want. But I believe that if you have a vegan background, and if you're raised on vegan diet and convictions, you're more likely to stay that way. I accidentally tasted meat after long time, and it tasted rotten. Yuck. I can only imagine what it would taste like to someone who never had meat before.
