What's it called when you eat fish, but you don't eat poltrey or meat?
because I want to become one. And I was wondering if you had ant sight that gives vegi recipies, and good sorces of protien!
Answers:
I end all my answers now for the correct term for the type of diet you describe. Why? I'm sick and tired of having murdered sea animals offered to me as food.
The idiotic term (literally) that combines the Italian word for fish with the Latin -arian suffix is not only highly insulting to real vegetarians and vegan but also does not mean a fish eating diet!
-arian means a lifestyle and does NOT refer to diet! The idiiotic word means living a fishy lifestyle!
Look below for the correct term to describe your diet! Since you didn't try to insinuate that you were a form of vegetarian I gave you a star as a small token of thanks.

Vegetarians do not eat fish. A fish eater is a Piscivore. Spread the correct word!

Pesco-vegetarian
Pescitarian
Sorry guys, whether you like it or not doesnt really matter. It is a real term, given its ridiculous. Dont know what to tell you.
I have suggested to people to just say "The only meat I eat is fish", but people like labels so there you go.
Dunno what it called . I eat seafood but no red meat or poultry . Just go with it make up a name to explain to people .So many sites on net to get recipes . Eat lots green leafy veggies and legumes (lentils, beans, chick peas) . Raw nuts are also good and oily fish (mackerel , sardines) . Good luck.
it's a wonderful idea; red meat contains not only saturated fat but also waste products, e.g. chemical foods stuff fed to the encaged animals (in disastrous factory farm conditions), drugs injected into the slaughterhouse, coloring and tenderizers from the dead meat to make it look more "attractive"
Little wonder why I avoid hamburgers like hell!
Although fish constitutes a variety of meat, by the same token we might as well stop living - a diet of no more than 3 fish dishes in one week, along with plenty of fruits and vegetables may be the best way to get your proteins as well as have your toxins removed from body.
Make sure that the fish you consume is not "higher" up the food chain e.g. did you know tuna is a predatory fish, sardines are a safe bet because they are extremely bottom on the food chain.
Fish oil is actually better than Olive oil due to its omega 3 fatty acid content; it decreases fat hormone to help you remain slim and cuts the risk of alzheimer disease and prostrate cancer - here is a calorie chart for different varieties of fish to plan your diet accordingly:

Pesco-vegetarians will eat fish products but no other meat products
Lacto-vegetarians will eat dairy foods but no other meat products
Octo-vegetarians will eat egg products but no other meat products
People though are often a combination of types such as lacto-octo vegetarians or pesco-lacto, etc.
And vegans eat no meat products what so ever.
catholic or Jehovah witness
I like the fact you didn't ask what kind of vegetarian you would be considered. I don't think there is a name for it. Many people like to think that they are vegetarians because they cut out red meat and poultry and made up the term pescitarian, but there is no such thing.
There are only three types of vegetarians laco-ovo, lacto, and ovo thats it. Vegetarian by definition is a person who eats no fish, fowel, red meat. If you still eat fish you are just a omni that doesn't eat red meat or poultry. No special term for how you eat... sorry.
I once heard the term pescivore... but I'm not sure that is a real term either.
As far as recipes you could replace the meat with fish for certain recipes. Try Allrecipes.com, you can pick and choose the parameters of your search for recipes.
beans are good sources of protein! and that is called a pesco vegetarian
Katie G is right the term is Pescitarian.
Fish is meat and not something any vegetarian eats. Vegetarian recipes dont have fish in them. You are still an omnivore no matter what fancy word was made up for those who just eat fish.
it is called being pescatarain anad to me, it is called not being a true vegetrian!!!! FISH IS MEAT! MEAT IS MURDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
You are called a fish eater. Now, go and eat!
