I think a lot of vegans do secretly to tell you the truth, my one friend who is a vegan believes that she is more superior to a vegetarian especially a meat eater because her diet is "pure", or at least that is how she puts it. I know when I go on Peta I get a vibe from alot of people that they would rather see vegans than vegetarians, and that vegetarianism is just a substitute to being vegan. But it doesent really matter as long as you are in the cause for animals it shouldnt matter.
It is not a matter of holyer than thou, its personal choice.
i know this is a trolling question. But...in a way yes. The way i'd question anyone doing something half-assed. Cows are brutalized MORE in the dairy industry than for most meat production. And then there's the fallout of calves being taken away from their mothers and locked in small pens to fuel the veal industry. I don't understand if this is something a lot of lacto-vegetarians don't consider, or they just don't care about. Same thing with laying hens, they eventually get killed after living a tortured life in a tiny cage. Vegetarians are still contributing to poor health and the death of animals
