Teenage Vegetarians.. Pressure?
I'm a 14 boy vegetarian (3 years). Why do i get the feeling that when im going to ask a girl out shes gonna think im a loser cuz i vegetarian or that people are going to make fun of me for being one?

i'm a 14 year old girl too and i've been a vegetarian for about 6 months...
i've gone to a catholic school my life [now there's only 5 people in my graduating class of 8th grade] and i'm worried that no boy will ever like me bc i go to a catholic school.
i'm glad to hear of other vegetarians my age, there are none others that i know of in my area.

That's silly. Girls should like that you're a vegetarian. I think that it's cool! It shows that you don't want a girl that knows how to cook steak or something gross like that. Don't be shy about it.
There are alot of vegetarians. If the girl really likes you she wouldnt think your a loser and she wouldnt make fun of you. Some people just have to accept whats going no around them. Never know you could ask a girl out and she could be a vegetarian too.

They may or may not think you're a loser for being a vegetarian, they will certainly notice that you have no meat on your bones (muscles, strength, etc) and will parlay this observation into the knowledge that you are lacking physically in other areas.
Grab a nice bloody rare strip steak, and you'll be able to look a woman in the eyes with confidence my friend.
don't worry! you'll want to date a girl who respects you being a vegetarian. there are many college students who are vegetarians here, and many that are not.

dude dont feel bad that yr a vegetarian-you doing something good for yourself, and it shows your smart and have control over yourself. the kids that make fun of you at school are oviuosly not that educated to be taking about somthing they have zero knowledge about. right? dont feel like you cant ask a girl out because of that!

I think its because its different and a little intimidating to others. Meat eaters think that vegetarians think they're better than them...
Going through life you are going to meet a lot of people that are going to judge you. Weather it be for the food you eat, the clothes you wear or the religion you choose, it doesn't make a difference.
People who look at you and only see that one part of you are not even worth your time. Let them judge if they want, and even make fun of you. Are you secure in who you are? If so that is all that matters. You will find that many people are more understanding than we give them credit for.
Well, if she doesn't like it, or if she makes fun of it, then she's not nice. But, most girls would probably think it's cool. In my high school, I am a vegetarian too, and there are only a few at my school who are. Most of my friends support me, and a lot of them ask tips all the time about eating a vegetarian diet.

i just reckon vegetarians are more aware of their surroundings, which would make them more interesting to me.
i'm pretty sure there are tonnes of like-minded girls out there, vegetarians or not!
