What are some food that are good for the body and eyes?

im interested in changing my diet, maybe even becoming vegetarian. could anyone tell me what foods are high in protein and iron. is whole weat really better for you? things such as this. any websites related would be appreciated

The trick to eating properly when you are on a vegetarian diet is to find foods that make a whole protein. Many foods contain protein, but they are not the complete form of protein you would find in meat. I believe the only grain that contains a complete protein is quinoa. There's a lot of info about it on Wikipedia.com. Edamame (soy bean pods) is also a form of whole protein and quite delicious when you toss it in a frying pan for a few minutes with butter and salt. It's kind of like a pea pod, but much more nutritious! Other foods you can combine to form a whole protein are things that usually go together so it makes it easy: peanut butter & toast (whole grain!), rice & beans, cereal & milk. all green vegetables they all contains all kiond of proteins

well i dont know about iron andstuff, but carrots make your eye sight better, and they taste good, and they make your eyes brighter i think. they help your eyes in some way, thats all i know
