Why do people treat farm animals so bad?
They are going to die anyways for food so why does their short life have to be so bad.

I know....i cried actually two weeks ago while on a road trip...I huge truck filled with slaughter-house pigs passed by my car...*hangs head* I love what PETA is doing and all...but man, when they send me those freagin' pamphlets in the mail with sick-looking and battered animals, it makes me want to bawl my eyes out...They don't need to convince me any more than i already am...I mean, i'm vegan! lol I don't think i would be so upset when ppl suck on ribs and chomp down on chicken legs, if the animals weren't so mistreated beforehand. I mean, even serial killers have three meals a day and a warm bed to sleep in before they die. *shakes fist* If you can't give up meat...at least be compassionate enough to buy free-range....right? *sighs* I care too much....*pouts*

we need to get away from Factory Farms for animals, Only buy Grass fed Beef and free range Chickens and pigs. Buy organic milk also ! did you know they cut off 2 nipples of a cow because they suction device only has 4 suckers ?
Pure profit. The best way to avoid this is to just not eat meat, or other products. Oh course eating meat is not saying ou don't care how these animals are treated so feel free to do what you please.
Well vegan& proud and //icarus;; gave the exact reason... Money makes the world go round... and all those companies care about is money, not you, and definitely not animals!
Oh and by the way, free-range/ free-roaming/ organic/ cage-free animals are treated just as bad as regular factory farm animals. Those names are nothing but labels geared toward the best interests of the companies... not the best interests of people or the animals.

i agree. i think people should treat cows and pigs like dogs. not buy 2 million of them just to eat.
I believe it's a power issue. They have such low self esteems that they have to put others down to feel good (in this instance, innocent animals).
Anyone who can kill an animal has something mentally/emotionally wrong with them.
Thats a simple q... for profit. Unfortunately profit is an acceptable reason for suffering. But WHY does it happen over and over again? "Because good men do nothing".
