So Mars have decided that they're sorry they upset millions of vegetarians and are going to revert to making their products suitable for us veggies again! But they haven't yet said if the bars with animal products will be withdrawn or if there is a certain best before date we should be looking at (ie after a certain date they will be veggie again!)
Anyway, don't you think its great that they listened to the consumer for a change? Even if we do still need a little more information, let's hear it for a victory for the little man! yay!

Wow, I am really pleasantly surprised! Even though I don't eat their products often, I signed a petition against their decision to use animal products. That's awesome! I'm sure there will be a lot more happy vegetarians after that news gets around!
Don't know what all the fuss is about, us carnivores are becoming rather tired of having our food tampered with to fit with a minority. The human race is omnivorous not vegetarian. the only people I feel any sympathy with are those with food allergies and not those who chose a life style and then complain that the world is not sympathetic.
In the article i told you about they also said that anything with a best before date after 1st october 2007 was no longer suitable for vegetarians, but, yesterday i looked at a Galaxy my youngest (my oldest is the veggie) was eating totally unaware of what it would mean to her sister and the date was after the 1st but in the contents list it still said contained soya lectin and no mention of rennet so what are you supposed to believe
