Did you know that Adolf Hitler was a vegetarian?

Answers:
I'm a nationalist and love art too.
yes
that's surprising, you'd think he would take pleasure in killing his food in front of his plate, letting the blood drip all over his head and just laugh, and laugh.......
Wikipedia,is wrong.
Various biographers, including those who knew the dictator record his passion for 'bavarian sausages, game pie,and (according to his chef) stuffed pigeon. He was however, plagued by chronic flatulence for which his doctors recommended a vegetarian diet. He also received regualr injections of high-protein serum derived from bulls testicles..
There is no evidence in his speeches or writings that he was ideologically sympathetic to to vegetarianism.
Adolf Hitler's vegetarianism has never been proved. It was often thought that Hitler was vegetarian as he was always terrified that someone would poison his meat to bring an end to the third reich. Also Hitler was also conscious of his health. I find it very unlikely he was vegetarian because he loved animals, given the atrocities the Jews were put through (where he had no compassion whatsoever for fellow human beings). No 'real' vegan or vegetarian agrees with the physical harm of any human/animal.
I know there are pictures of Hitler smiling at little lambs etc, but then there are a photos of Bernard Matthews, the owner of a British turkey farm known for disgusting trecherous conditions, cuddling turkeys.
Finally, Albert Einstein was also a proven vegetarian- a vocal vegetarian for ethical and health reasons and there are many quotes from him on the subject.
In case you didn't know, Einstein was a genius. Adolf Hitler was an insane man who was probably vegetarian because he was scared for his health, nothing more.
"Hitler was a vegetarian beginning in the early 1930s until his death (although his actual dietary habits appear inconsistent and are sometimes hotly disputed)."
Oh lookie thats from your own source!!! Way to read!

here is a good site to dispute those claims above.
Furthermore Hitler was against smoking. Does that mean that all non-smokers are nazis? Im not sure what the implication is in saying that Hitler was a vegetarian. Even if he was would it make a difference?
Here was my response yesterday when the exact same comment (?) was posted:
Good try but would you like to know some historical figures that were actual vegetarians?????
Vincent Van Gogh
Susan B. Anthony
Leonardo Da Vinci
Ralph Waldo Emerson
John Wesley
Plato
Pythagoras
Sir Isaac Newton
Rosa Parks
Mark Twain
William Blake
Voltaire
Leo Tolstoy
Thomas Edison
Albert Einstein
Should I keep going???
Now if you really believe Hitler was a vegetarian bother yourself to actually research whether or not that is true and you will find very quickly that it is indeed false.
Hitler might have avoided meat at least in some point in his life, but purely for health reasons. It's obvious that if he cared for life, he wouldnt cause so much suffering to any form of life including humans.
Why would you post such a stupid question (that has already been posted many times) before even considering what vegetarianism is about? You're only embarrassing yourself and showing your ignorance. You know the link to wikipedia, so go there and search for "vegetarian". You just might learn something.
Also from Wikipedia:
"The confusion around Hitler's vegetarianism is likely due to his frequent dietary modifications where his meat consumption was reduced though not eliminated entirely. Vegetarianism is the elimination of meat from one's diet, and by modern definition the reduction of meat from one's diet does not constitute vegetarianism."
