Can you be a vegetarian and still eat fish?!

Question:

Can you be a vegetarian and still eat fish?

Answers:
"A vegetarian does not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, or slaughter by-products.

People who don’t eat red meat but do eat chicken or fish are making a very important first step, but they aren’t vegetarians. We usually call such people meat-reducers."

yes you can and dairy if u become vegan you can't have dairy eggs or fish

Hiya,

In short, no. The word vegetarian can be extended to also exclude eggs. In all, I think all vegans, vegetarians, pure vegetarians and ovo-vegetarians etc all agree: a vegetarian does not eat meat/the flesh of a creature and that includes the meat of a fish.

It may be worth doing a search on Yahoo Answers for this subject as there's been a lot of interesting debate over it.

no, you can be a pescitarian though

no, sorry... anyone that says any different DOES NOT know what they are talking about... so I wouldn't listen to them if I were you.
