well, you havent been stung before have you? when they sting you it gives you enough energy to take off running heading for the house looking for meds... gee !!!
It doesn't really give you energy as far as I know. It does help with allergies if it came from near your home, as well as coats your throat, quite helpful if you sing. I don't really get the big deal about honey. More insects die from harvesting crops, driving down the road, just walking for that matter.
Because it is a natural Energy. If you eat a little pinch you can have tons of energy!!!
