Which is better when on a vegitarien diet, coffee or tea? And which kinds?
I am starting a more healthier eating diet becaus eof access body weight especially in the stomach area. i woudl like to know which is better coffee or tea. And which kinds are good for te vegitarien diet?

Tea would be better. I heard that Green Tea was suppose to help with weight loss. Also a Red Tea is good. I am in the process of quiting coffee because of the caffeine. I am going to go to decaf soon. Decaf really isn't good for you either because they use chemicals to decaf it but if you can find one that has been decafed by the Swiss Water process, it is better. Tea, definitely. Try Tazo tea. They have at least 3 different kinds, all tasting much better (but they taste good on their own) with natural honey added. Honey kills all bacteria, so it's really good for you. The tea has lots of healthy ingredients, like anti oxidants and herbs.
I would go tea.There are all kinds including herbal teas.It has been proven that tea is a good for you.If you like coffee and want to avoid caffiene buy decaffinated.The best is always water.
Tea is much, much healthier than coffee.
You can get teas in many varieties, from herbal to unsweet, and from peach to regular.
Tea doesnt have the amount of caffeine that coffee does, plus coffee will stain your teeth a lot faster than tea will ever be able to.

there is alot up for discussion on this subject...i have read and learned that coffee is good before a workout and tea is the all around best for dieting...herbal teas. good luck with your dieting..i'm in the same spot..
I agree with the above answers. Tea is a better choice. But some tea (or all I dunno) contain tannin which decrease iron absorption, so when you are eating iron rich foods, don't drink tea with it for better absorption. Green tea has been said to be good, but I am not sure.
Black Tea (with honey..English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Iced Lemon Tea)...
Forget the coffee or tea drink Light Beer.
Actually , both are good if you don't add sugar or creamer.
If you want to rid toxins so you can digest better, drink peppermint tea with a dash of cardamom in it. That will cleanse and burn fat. Adding cinnamon to hot water and drinking it warm helps too.

I am a tea drinker as well as a vegetarian. Both coffee and tea are acceptable for vegetarians because animal products are not involved. However, I lean towards tea because there are many different flavors, (I think it tastes delicious) and because there are more flavors, some require less to be added (sugar, honey...) which accumulate as fat or carbohydrates. Also many teas are high in antioxidents. Good luck.
