Can we get B12 by eating?!

Question:

Can we get B12 by eating?

Can we get B12 by eating stools. I know this sounds gross, but if that is how gorillas get their B12, why can't we as humans do the same. I would sun dry it first and then tear off a piece and throw it in a green smoothie or something though. I probably wouldn't eat it directly.

I am embarassed to say I made some smoothies for company the other night and let me just say I had enhanced the smoothies with a little extra B12. Everyone was ranting about how great the smoothies tasted.

I went out and bought a food dehydrator so I could start drying some. I tasted a little bit just a minute ago, but it was still moist and chewy on the inside. It needs to dry a little bit longer.

eating your stools will cause brain damage, schizophrenia and paranoia

I guess you've been doing this a while , have you ?

how odd you are...

Perhaps you can tell us your name and address, so we can all go to your place and get more!

Well if it isn't there in the first place why would it be there the second time around? and it seems highly uncivilized...go to the store and get vitamins I'm a vegan and that's what i do.

Not everyone can absorb vitamin B12. If you have had bowel surgery for any reason , the portion of bowel which absorbs vitamin B12 could have been removed.

That is the natural way to get B12. We make it in our bodies, but it's made so low in our intestinal tract that it only exists in our feces. But I for one, will stick with my supplements from GNC, because while natural, eating stools is quite disgusting.

Mmmmm, can I have a smoothie please? : ) Well they do say that it's only meat eaters **** that stinks! Before everyone complains I too am a stinking **** meat eater : )

yum yum vegan or vegetarian ? thank god I'm a meat eater
