Would you eat Vegetarian Slim Jims?!

Question:

Would you eat Vegetarian Slim Jims?

Do they make them yet?

Answers:
anything with vegetarian in the name means it taste like horse piss

i wouldnt eat them

If they tasted like regualr SLim Jims heck yeah!

I won't even eat regular Slim Jims -- have you ever squeezed one - yick!

I don't know but it sounds good esp. if they made them from hot peanuts/soynuts. search slim jim and it should lead to the co. website, then click customer feedback

why must they make vegetarian food to resemble meat products anyway? i'd rather eat a regular slim jim!

if i had too

ICK! What a thought!

since for once you asked a legitimate question, I will actually dignify this one with a response.

I'm not exactly sure about slim Jims, but there is vegetarian "jerkey" made from Textured Vegetable protien. It is delicious.

if the veggie slim-jim tasted good then, yes. I like most soy meat.

Actually, I missed jerky, until I found these:
http://store.foodfightgrocery.com/prstje...

They're so good, come in many flavours and 3 different textures, they're overprocessed just like convenience store jerky, most of my veg*an friends hate them because they're too "meaty", but my meat-eating friends love them.

You should try them sometime - you don't even have to go vegetarian, okay? :)

I haven't personally tried it, but a friend suggested "Stonewall's Jerquee"... a vegetarian (soy) jerky that comes in several flavors

if they tasted good...but as processed as they r im sure they r no better 4 u then regular ones

No they taste bad enough all ready.

Tofurky makes vegan Tofurky Jurky; I guess that is the closest thing I ever saw to a vegan Slim Jim. I have eaten them and would eat them again.

Oh wait, the Wishstixs that come with the Tofurky thanksgiving meal are very close to Slim Jims.

I'm slim already, I wouldn't have to eat it!

I'm vegetarian, and I wouldn't. I've tried the Stonewall's jerky, and it tastes like vomit. No joke.

No way. It would ruin the taste of the beer I am drinking to wash it down.
