Do you like falafels?!

Question:

Do you like falafels?

I made some for dinner. Yum. I haven't had them since Venice Beach about a billion years ago. I will make them again. I used "Fantastic World Foods" mix and it was great. next time I might try and make it from scratch, though.

That company makes good fake taco meat, too.

Instead of frying balls of falafel I flattened them out a bit, brushed them with olive oil and broiled each side for three minutes or so. They were crunchy and way less heavy than deep frying.

Oh, and I chopped up sweet Maui onion and cucumber in the food processor to stuff in the pita, too. That definitely made it. My husband and our worker had never had them. They were a big hit.

No I dont like falafel...I LOVE IT! I could be wrong but I think that may be the same mix we use, and make a tahini sauce to go with it. YUMYUMYUM :)

Yes, falafel is indeed delicious :)

Sorry, those things are nasty. I really think people just say they like them to fit in with others who also say they like them. Uhgh!

I really like falafels! That's always tasty and good, like a great music song! This mix is always the best! Good choice!

I like waffels!

Try them with sweet chilli sauce and tzartziki (cucumber yogurt)i, good, really good.

Hummm...It's also really good with great cheese like moz

I love them, I make them from scratch all the time!

I grew up on the (my family is middle eastern) i tend to make them at home because those you get in the restaurant are usually NOT vegetarian (cooked in lard)

i also do not like mixes of any type. something very unnatural about them.
