Hardly....and never say never, because when you least expect it you might meet the love of your life and decide to spend the rest of your life with him/her. And I don't believe people were meant to spend their life alone. I hope you're atleast willing to open your heart to someone...no one says you MUST or HAVE to get married.
Not jealous, just amused...never say never, especially when it comes to the human condition, especially about love...I swore the same thing and believed it so much, I would literally vomit when I heard the word "marriage"....until I met the person I was destined to marry. What a difference love made in me--could no longer deny who I truly was--a human being capable of loving another...totally messed up my life plans, but was so worth it! :) You can be as attitudinal about it all you want, make all the promises you want, but when (God/the Fates/whatever it is you believe in) decides you are ready, love will rear it's "ugly" head and you too will be trapped in wonderful cage...can't deny it...it's like breathing...can't live without it...it's our nature...it's our destiny...
Why does everyone have the typical belief that you are "losing" out on something by not getting married.. I have been married and I can tell you it would not be a loss for me to not do it again. If you truly love somone, why do you feel the need for the piece of paper that says so? And why do people feel they NEED to be married to live a happy and fullfilled life??
