Are non-specialist spirits ever vegan?!

Question:

Are non-specialist spirits ever vegan?

Or do you need to buy special vegan spirits? I'm just wondering if readily available spirits such as vodka or rum are vegan.

Answers:
most alchohol is vegan. vegan, by difinition excludes―as far as is possible and practical―all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.

of course, there is fish wine, available in mexico and china, and not vegan.

Fish wine?!? That just sounds nasty.

Vegan yes.
Also low calorie, fat free and no carbohydrates.
Not technically healthy for other reasons however.
Liquors are different. They infuse those things with all kinds of random stuff. Schnops, Kalulha and all that. They should still be vegan but they have a lot more calories and such.
