Well, first off all make sure you are eating enough or you put your body into starvation mode. If you feel hungry there are plenty of healthy options, fruit, yogurt, etc... plus eating high fiber foods such as cereal, whole grain breads, oatmeal or crackers will make you feel full longer.
Drink plenty of water.
It is recommended that you eat 5-6 small meals a day, a meal can consist of a bowl of oatmeal and a slice of whole wheat bread, in other words it doesn't mean LARGE meals, but eating consistently keeps your blood sugar level at an even keel and that in and of itself is a bonus when you're trying to lose weight.
I drink ice water, it does seem to help.

Make sure that you are drinking a lot of water during the day and that you are being active. Doing this helps me keep my mind off the food and during the day i find i've eaten less because i'm not as hungry

I either brush my teeth or chew mint gum. Chewing mint gum is better because you are chewing something, and when you have a mint flavor in your mouth, you have less of an appetite for food.

Chewing gum always helps me. Many times I have to eat, so I try to eat something that is healthy but filling (the 100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn are great and filling as well as the Kashi granola bars.)
If you are hungry you should eat! Just eat the right foods. Have an apple or banana or carrot sticks dipped in hummus, drink lots of water, black coffee (but only one or two cups per day max), small serving of nuts, make a smoothie out of frozen fruits and soymilk, small bowl of cereal like Raisin Bran with soymilk or all- fruit popsicles.
Don't starve yourself! Eat small amounts of healthy foods more often and you will lose weight! Remember to workout too!
Honesty you have to eat right if you want to lose weight..have you ever watch the TV show called Work Out...Jackie says...Breakfast, small snack(healthy), Lunch, small snack(healthy) and then Dinner ....if you eat the proper portions you dont need to kill hungry or starve your self...and plus 8 glasses of water a day....water is actually real good with a slice or real lemon in it...it makes it so much more easier to drink...and after dinner if you have to energy take a walk every night...bam your good
drink a glass or two of water before you have a meal. you wont eat as much.
