Wheatgrass??!

Question:

Wheatgrass??

is there really a point in taking wheatgrass juice if you already have a healthy diet?

Answers:
Yeah wheatgrass is not the best tasting thing in the world, but it's actually very very very good for you. If you want all the benefits of a healthy diet & exercise you should add wheatgrass to it. Theres lots of anti-oxidants in it that helps clean you out of radicals like smoking, pollution, unhealthy fats etc..and can boost your immune system loads. It gives you energy and you can feel better well round and more happy. And 1 ounce of this stuff is almost a weeks worth serving of vegatables (nutrition wise). It also is good for your skin/hair...The recommended dosage is usually 1-2 ounces PER DAY, which I will say (people who drink it every day are hard core, and they're actually the living proof of how good this stuff works) It's juiced because the grass itself is in digestable...But as for me personally, I drink 1 ounce at least 3 times a week.

Wheatgrass has a really bad after taste that takes forever to go away, so if you decide to try it out, make sure you take it after you've eaten (it will make you feel sick on an empty stumach), and start off with just a one ounce...and Jamba Juice usually offers a orange slice for a chaser, but it doesn't work, so drink about 4-8 ounces cranberry juice instead, and if not, raspberry juice, that should help out with the aftertaste. And if not you can get pretty much any type of caffinated drink or tea at starbucks, that helps out too. If you feel the need to "bomb the bathroom" after the first couple times, its the wheatgrass cleaning you out of all the bad stuff. But I would recommend it....Hope this helps!
