Tommorow my first day of VEGAN!!?
tommorow is that starting of me going full-vegan, woot woot!!!
mhmm you may say any rude/aspiring/off-wall comments now xD
Answers:
Eat all the tofu, fruits and veggies you want. More meat for me.
good luck. ull definitely need it!
congratulations! i hope it goes well for you!
No rudeness. Good luck and be careful about the amount of protein you consume. That seems to be the hardest part of veganism.
Good luck!!
I have any Vegan friends--if you need help--let me know.
I seriously offer only luck to you. I went full vegan for easter (Orthodox Easter in case you are wondering) and it was VERY VERY hard. I barely made it for the entire 40 days.
The only advice I can give is to make sure you know a lot of alternative ingredients and such. Plan meals ahead of time and ... good luck! Seriously.
If your not already vegitarian thats gonna be tough! (you probably are though) :D You should probably eat a couple bars of chocolate tonight, and ice cream. You'll miss it.
Good for you!!! I cannot do it, I love meat. When I see a cow in a pasture I scream "lay down and get on my plate!!!!" I am glad you stand up for what you believe in. That is your right, until you preach to me about cruelty and all of that crap.
What's wrong with milk and cheese ?? If you don't milk a cow, it's utters will explode!
Good luck , but in the beginning do take a vitamin supplement to get you through the early stages, try all the various products to maintain the vegan lifestyle, I am not one but eat very little meat, mostly canned fish.
But I do make alot of veg currys, and love TVP for the same dishes usually made with meat, like chili, spaghetti sauce and other previously prepared foods with meat in them, but try as many different combinations of things.
Nuts, Seed, Veg, Tofu of any kind the Asian varietys are great and give you more selections, and this time of year there are some many fresh veg coming out, you cna really go to town with recipes and prep variations.
I am also a former chef in Canada, and love all kinds of veg and eat at my favorite Indian Veggie Buffet restaurant twice a month.
Woot Woot!!!!!

Woohoo
:)
I was vegan for a year, watch out for casein, and whey. they sneak up in the weirdest foods (bread. meat alternative products and soy cheese). Read ALL of the ingredients in the label. You'll develop a list of safe foods. Its very hard to eat in restaurants.
Yves has the best products. Soy Good milk and Rice Dream "ice cream" are good too.
Congratulations on your venture. It will be difficult, but if this is what you have chosen to do after fully considering all the options, then I respect your decision and offer you luck.
Eat meat! I see nothing wrong with fish or baked chicken! The Mediterranean diet is one of the most healthiest in the world! Fish has omega 3!!!! I suggest eating meat!
wow congradulations!!!that sounds fun, i am not vegan but have a billion friends who are and have even picked up stuff like almond milk and soy yogurt and tofu!!it might be hard but you can do it and think of why you want to do it if you feel the urge to eat something un vegan!!!
Vegan is an ethical lifestyle, not a diet. If you aren't vegan now, you never were.
You don't need to be careful about protein or anything else, except getting enough calories and a variety of whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, vegetables, and fruit. Take a sublingual B-12 supplement every couple of days and eat plenty of dark leafy greens and walnuts/flax oil/hemp for omega 3s.
i was vegan and vegeterian refried beans saved my life. be sure to eat lots of beans.
aaaaalright! ::high five!::
congratulations! :o)
Good for you! I am a recent convert myself. There are so many wonderful foods to help make the transition easier. You will do wonderfully! Just remember to eat FRESH, FRESH, FRESH for the bulk of your diet. Animal-food replacements should just be a small part of your diet. Your body is going to be so grateful to you!
congratulations!hope you last for ever and don't give up , like us we are vegetarians for more than 2500 years belong to jain religion which is the only religion on earth where all of them are vegetarian and follower of lord mahaveer for more at my web site at http://jainism.co.nr
It's only hard in the beginning. The first month will be the worst obviously but you should be rocking and rolling after a year or so.
