Should Ashley accept my invitation to see how meat is slaughtered?
After being on the vegtarian forums for a week or so I have noticed on thing. While most of you are reasonable people your ranks are tainted with self righteous extremists who feel it is their job to force their views upon other. Ashley is the most vocal of these people.
So I propose this, since Ashley has demonstrated ignorance time and time again about meat, I will make an offer to educate her. I am slaughtering one of my steers in August and invite her to watch and if she wishes participate in the process.
In exchange I am willing to try a vegetarian/vegan diet for one week. I think it would be an educational oppurtunity for all involved.

I'm a Vagetarian myself!

Odd of you to ask this question. Your name wouldn't be Sam would it? Sam took me to a slaughter house for our first and last date. It made me a vegetarian for about 2 weeks.
All you're going to do is traumatize poor Ashley. Don't do it.
The way you will slaughter that steer is a lot different from the way animals are kept and slaughtered on factory farms.
Oh, and kudos to you for raising your own animals.
Make sure you get paid for being a vegan for two weeks.
Sure, she may lose some of her ignorance. Then she should go quail hunting with me. The incident with Harry Whittington was just an accident. I've been practicing and I'm a much better shot now.
Just leave her alone. It's unfair to kill if you don't HAVE to.
Ashley is too closed minded to even think about trying anything like that.
I dont' know how showing a vegan how you kill an animal is supposed to change her views. I think you've just secretly got the hots for her. I'm sure she'll like you more if you let the pretty cow live!
you are sick
Yep, sign her up.
I've already said she is scare mongering and lies about the way animals are killed. She just reports people that disagree with her.
We are not all nightmares like her.
