What Is The Difference Between Vegans And Vegetarians?
Answers:
Hi - Vegetarians will not eat anything that involves the death of an animal (even fish, so vegetarians don't eat fish!! people who do are NOT true vegetarians).
Whereas Vegans will not eat anything that is from an animal source, like milk, eggs, cheese, I guess they see the trade of these things as sort of animal slavery.
I think vegans don't eat dairy whereas vegetarians do
Vegetarians still eat fish and dairy, vegans do not.
Vegetarians have the worst FARTS.......
Vegans won't eat anything animal derived - fats, eggs, etc.
i don't think vegans eat dairy products or eggs
vegans dont eat anything related to animals i.e anything made from them or a by product, such as milk cheese cream etc etc, mad if you ask me but hey everyone has a choice!
Vegetarians don't eat meat, whereas Vegans don't eat meat or anything that comes from an animal full stop like Dairy products.
Vegans are stricter in their diet. No fish, eggs or dairy.
Thought Vegan was just an abbreviation for Vegetarians. lol
Vegetarians will eat some animal by-products, such as cheese, while vegans won't eat anything that comes from an animal.
Ethical vegans omit all animal products from their lifestyle. That includes not consuming meat, eggs, dairy or honey, not wearing any leather, wool or silk, and buying cruelty free cosmetics etc.
Ethical vegetarians don't eat any meat and some vegetarians also avoid eggs and dairy.
Also worth pointing out that some people aren't vegan/veg for ethical reasons but for health reasons/personal taste.
I give alot of respect to Vegans, Being a Vegan means alot of changes
Vegetarian: Do not eat meat
Vegans: Do not eat meat
Do not eat anything produced from an animal
Do not buy anything related to testing on animals
Do not wear any clothes made from Animals
etc etc
Vegans eat no diary at all, no fish, show, or meat. There are no exceptions to this, and they read labels carefully. A vegetarian eats no meat fish or fowl.
eggs and cheese.
Some vegans are so strict, they will not eat ANY animals product, including eggs, cheese and milk.
vegetarians have no trouble with the whole ova-dairy nexus, stating that the animal produces this anyway and are not killed in order to get it
A vegan diet not only omits beef, poultry and fish, but also omits anything that comes from an animal-including milk, eggs, cheese.
"Do not buy anything related to testing on animals "
"Do not wear any clothes made from Animals"
This also falls under a vegetarian's choices too.
I do and am not vegan.
....vegans need more will power and to be good in the kitchen!
Vegetarians don't eat any animals. Vegans don't eat anything that comes from animals, such as eggs, milk, or honey. From what I understand a true vegan also will not wear anything derived from animals either.
Shonsay sorry you're wrong real vegetarians don't eat fish.
basically vegan's don't eat dairy, eggs or honey whereas vegetarian's do. neither eat food with a face.
As for the guy that said we;re up our own arses...I think HE'S the one up his own ****...just a thought....
A vegetarian does not eat meat, fish, poultry or slaughter by-products.
A vegan extends this to include all products that USE animals. This includes food, such as milk, eggs, honey. But it also includes use of wool, silk, leather etc.
i'm a veggie that doesn't drink milk or use leather. The only eggs i will eat are from my own freerange hens so all eggs in processed food is out for me.
being veggie involved diet choices, being vegan also involve lifestyle choices.
Vegetarians eat dairy and eggs. Vegans eat nothing that came from an animal.
The differentence between vegans and vegatarians are:Vegans eat some fish, chicken and dairy produce as they believe that chickens and fish do not really have feelings. Where as vegatarians don't eat anything to do with animals.
vegetarians dont eat animals but they eat eggs and dairy products where as vegans do not eat any products that come from or have anything to do with animals.

Vegetarians don't eat meat(and that includes fish) or meat extracts such as gelatin or rennet. They do eat animal products like milk and eggs though.
Vegans don't eat anything that comes from animals-so as well as meat and meat extracts no milk or eggs or honey etc.
Vegans also don't buy leather or fur or wool or silk or any other material that is made from animals. They also steer clear from anything that was tested on animals. Some vegetarians avoid these things too.
Vegans don't eat anything that comes from an animal - milk, cheese, eggs, lard etc.
A true Vegetarian doesn eat anything that involves the killing of an animal they do eat cheese and eggs and take milk though.
If someone says they are vegetarian but they do eat fish - they are not really a vegetarian.
Vegans and vegetarians eat vegetables.
A true vegetarian is the same thing as a vegan, both abstain from consuming any animal products or by-products. It has only been recently that the terms have gotten somewhat confusing since the introduction of certain groups of vegans that took the dietary lifestyle even further and also abstain from buying any clothing, furniture, cars, etc. that use animal products. This practice has only become popular in the last several decades.
Now, it is widely accepted that the main difference between a "vegan" and a "vegetarian" is that most "vegetarians" consume some combination of dairy products (or even fish products) and a "vegan" does not.
A vegan does not eat any animal products at all. Neither do they wear/use products that are derived from or tested on animals. A vegetarian refrains from eating fish, meat and poultry. A lacto vegetarian (such as myself) refrains from all the same things as the vegetarian, plus eggs. Hope that helps!
VEGANS eat no animal products except(not all) honey.
Vegetarians do not eat meat. But they do eat dairy, eggs, other things that come from animals, etc..
Vegans eat nothing that have to do with animals.
Also, vegans wear nothing that have to do with animals.
easiest way to put it:
vegans do not eat anything produced or taken from an animal
ex: dairy, eggs, gelatin, stuff like that
