What should I do legally for repeated harassment?
Can I do anything in an on-line situation like this? Endive aka Al_sparagus and Vegan_soldier has cloned my account now. A link to it so not to be confused with me. You can tell it's my post hopefully by default but a trademark is my entire name is lowercase.
He's added me twice on Yahoo and I've made it very clear both times to stop talking to me and I don't want anything more to do with his nonsense. Now he pulls this. Am I subject to this under terms and conditions of this service? As in it comes with the public nature of this forum?
I'm fairly confident he's a 31 year old male named Albert from Pittsburgh that lives on a farm or works at one. This doesn't say or do much, but if anyone can help me out with some advise I'm open for it. IM if you would like as well :)

littleviv - I do give them credit and it was a few of them that told me originally..but I consider most these people here friends and figured they are more familiar with the situation then anyone else would be.

Umm sorry man, I never cloned your account. To be honest I have no clue who it is, I wish I could take credit for it though its bloody genius.
I noticed immediately on Ashley's question that there were two posts under your name, only the 1st one was obviously posted by you, yet the second was obviously an imposter.
I even answered, mentioning the imposter's answer.
And noted what a coincidence it was how the 'person' above here, happened to answer Ashley's question immediately after the imposter's answer. That was a telltale sign right there.
Have you already reported this to yahoo?

Why are you asking this in the V&V section? Shouldn't you be contacting the "powers that be" instead of posting about it in an unrelated section, or finding the correct section to post it in? Give the people here a little more credit, I'm pretty sure that they didn't confuse the fake with the real.
Well, just thinking that the Yahoo! powers could be more help then the people here(no offense to you guys, but you are only users, and can only give advice, where as the powers that be might actually be able to do something if alerted to this enough times).
Plus, I've always been of the mind to just ignore the trolls(and report them when necessary), because if you make posts like this about them, they are just encouraged to keep it up.
well on Ashley's questions l was like wtf why is there 2 veganconscripts but now I know! well you could try to change your avatar aka picture but then he would just change his to it! if you really wanted this to stop all you would have to do is pick a best answer on all of your questions or just delete all of your questions (so he could not find that you changed you avatar and name) then change your name and picture but then no one would know it was you either so l don't really know what to do you could try one of those! and l don't think that there is any thing that you can do about the harassment! Endive1977 aka al_sparagus is a loser! if he is a 30 year old man that stalks people and makes fun of people and calls them kids he really needs to grow up and get a life this is probably what he dose for fun! bet he has no children and has no wife pretty much has no life! you are way better than him so don't let him get to you just try the things i said and maybe they will work out best wishes!!!
I would just like to add this there are many ways to tell the difference between you and Endive aka Al_sparagus all you have way more points than he dose you are on level 2 and you have been a member since may 8th 2007! he has 103 points and is on level 1 and has been a member since June 15th! so i think that you should just stay the way you are and dont change your pic or anything ( i know this is going against my own advice but oh well) we know how the real veganconscript !!!! and any wase on his name the c is capitalized he is so stupid if i was going to coppy somone i would at leat get that right! like Aladdin sane said i think he has a crush on you!

I don't think you should have to change you name or anything like that... We know who the REAL you is... Don't worry about us getting confused, that's really just a shame that you and KatieG have to deal with this kind of crap...
It is a violation to impersonate someone else in here... but if you report him, then either Yahoo will do NOTHING or his account may be deleted... in that case, he is obviously so obsessed, that he will just make a new one and continue to torture you.
He is a waste of life and really doesn't deserve anyones attention... he probably has no friends on the farm and makes up for it by trying to act like a smart@ss in here... He is pathetic... and I think he has a crush on you...
I don't think anyone could do anything legally about an online stalker, but then again I know nothing about that stuff. Maybe if you know someone that has knowledge of that kind of stuff... you could ask them for advice...

shoot....well. that guy's a nut as it is, probably molests children when he's not bothering you. i suggest thoroughly going over any Yahoo! Answers contract/rules page you can find until you can find your argument(i suggest the one that forbids you to create multiple accounts for whatever reson or the one that says not to use this for ranting-i would call this case something like that just cause he's like showing his total hatred for you by copying you) good luck, really.
