It's the scallopini!

Try it cooked into Veal Piccata! Mmm good! Or veal marsala. Or veal scallopine, veal parmesan, or veal shishkabobs!

If you don't want to eat it, then use some self-control. It's really not that hard.

Try eating 3 or 4 pounds at one sitting, that will put you off the veal.

Raise an orphan baby calf, I bet that will put you off the veal.

"Attempt" to eat it ALIVE...see how that works out 4 ya.

Don't worry about it.......veal and lamb both will soon be, if not already, unavailable fresh this season. Those babies are growing up.
Veal is a young calf that has never eaten anything but mother's milk. Around here, the calves are way past that age.

And you've decided to visit the vegetarian/vegan forum to share this because....?
Should've posted this in the Food& Drinks forum, unless you've been trying to become a vegetarian unsuccessfully.
Otherwise, wrong forum.

I read about this years ago and haven't eaten veal since:
Veal calves are forced to spend their short lives in individual crates that are no more than 30 inches wide and 72 inches long. These crates are designed to prohibit exercise and normal muscle growth in order to produce tender gourmet veal. The calves are fed a milk substitute that is purposely low in iron so that they will become anemic and their flesh will stay pale.http://www.peta.org/factsheet/files/fact...

Just go to the PETA website and look at their pictures of dying, sick baby lambs while you stuff a forkful of veal into your gullet. That should do the trick.

Better idea, make the decision to harvest the foods you want to eat. If you want a chicken nugget, go kill a chicken. If you want veal, go find a baby lamb and strangle its little neck. That kind of viscera would convert most people to vegetarianism.

"I can't stop eating veal......... help!?"

How come you can't? How hard is it to exercise a little willpower? Just imagine the poor calf torn away from his mommy, crammed into a tiny stall, tied so he can't even turn around, not allowed to have any healthy social interaction with other calves, deprived of iron, and finally slaughtered and maybe--just MAYBE--stunned if he is lucky enough.

And don't just stop eating veal. Stop consuming dairy too. 'Cause you know what? Dairy and veal industries are closely linked; by buying the product of one industry, you support the other.
