Is been vegetarian bad or good?
Answers:
its not bad but its not the best thing...there are alot of things that you get out of meats that you cant get out of vegies
it doen't matter as long as you get your daily dose of iron and protien
probably. but you should just be a regualr vegatarion it helps alot woth veggies and stuff
Good and bad, you're at a greater risk of bone damage, and it would take you longer to heal because you wont have animal protein, but you also lessen your chances of getting diseases from the harmful hormones that are put into meat here in the US.
bad..you need meat in your diet..
Not really either. It's a personal choice. It can help you lose weight and be healthy but it can also deprive you of certain nutrients you can only get from eating meat, such as iron. Make the decision you feel is right for you.
It's good. I was a vegetarian for a long time (gave in because I was too weak to resist meat anymore) and from experience I know that there's no vitamin in a meat diet that you can't get in a vegetarian diet. Plus, if you take a multivitamin you'll be able to get all your nutrients without much trouble.
As long as you eat properly and make sure that you are getting all of your vitamins, minerals, protein, etc. being a vegetarian is very healthy.
Well, it's easier on the planet, and some religions like Hindus and Buddhists, believe it is more spiritually advanced. But you need to decide for yourself. Maybe try it for a while and see how you like it.
im a vegetarian and have been for a long time and am a lot healthier and at a better weight
Being vegetarian isn't bad unless you don't know what to eat because I've been vegetarian all my life and I'm still alive and very healthy
most vegetarians are healthy people just if you become a vegetarian remember that you need protien from peanuts, peanut butter and anything else that meat will give you. just dont try to push your friends into it because some just dont see the point of it
if you mean health wise, bad for the most part. you completely lose your source of protein. unless you want to take vitamins or something everyday, i would just stick with the healither choice of eating meat. if you are worried about your health while eating meat though, you can try eating just white meat.
It depends upon the person
Good. Well, that's what I think cuz one of my friends has decided to become one and this guy that I sort of know is a vegetarian.
bad: you dont get all the vital vitamins you need & hypocritical...dont eat meat it takes life, but plants are life too...poultry & fish are meat too
Being healthy is what is the most important. Some people can't be healthy vegetarians, but most can be.
Unless you are eating kosher or organic meat you aren't eating clean, let alone healthy food, but if you are living on chips and soda as a vegetarian you aren't very healthy or clean either..
The best thing you can do for your health is eat clean healthy unprocessed foods in adequate amounts without overeating 80 - 90% of the time. After all it's what we do most of the time that makes us who we are.
well, you are missing out on a lot of protein from the meat and the chicken but you can still replace it with eggs and peanuts (also peanuts are high on calories!) and a lot of other things. well hope this helps i dont think its a bad thing even though im a severely overweight meat lover
eating vegetables isn't a bad thing b/c it shows that u're healthy and u care for animals. lol. but if someone tills you that it is bad ignore it.
moderation is the key to life .....
As long as you research before making the decision, vegetarianism is very good. Protein isn't an issue. Whole wheat bread has protein in it for crying out loud! I wish people would stop on this protein thing. North Americans tend to eat too much protein. That can be harmful. Vegetarians eat a lot of filling beans, legumes and tofu. Voila! Protein. Follow the food guide and eat a good variety from all the food groups and you should be fine. Cutting out animal products immediately lowers your cholesterol and reduces your risk of heart disease. Remember to do your research! There are a lot of great sites on line. VRG (Vegetarian Resource Group) is amazing for info. Check it out.
its good for you
ive been a vegetarian for 13 years, and my grandma has been all her life, shes 85 and still going strong, i hope to be that strong and healthy when im her age
It's healthier to be a vegetarian, as long as you eat a balanced diet. There is nothing that you get from animal meat that you won't get from eating a balanced vegetarian diet.
