Restaurant Name: Cynthia's Pony Express Cafe
If you're coming back to Seattle from the east side of Mt. Rainier (Chinook Pass, Sunrise, Crystal Mt.) you'll be driving on state route 410 to Enumclaw. Take the time to stop in this cute little town and don't leave without a visit to the Pony Express Cafe. The ambiance isn't anything to write home about but this is the place to get home made muffins, milk shakes and cream pies.
Favorite Dish: The sandwiches and fries were perfectly adequate but the reason to come here is to endulge in milk shakes and pies. They served us giagantic pieces of the best chocolate cream and cocount cream pies we've had in maybe 20 years.

makes the kind of thick shakes and malts of which poetry is writ. If you have to ask how much ice cream goes into these monsters, you shouldn't go here. You could nurse one of these too-thick-to-sip-through-a-str... babies for an hour.
