If your supposed to drink eight glasses of water a day how big are the glasses?!
If your supposed to drink eight glasses of water a day how big are the glasses?
If you drink caffeine free tea and coffee or fruit juice does this count towards your glasses of water a day?
Answers:
Glasses are misleading, you should be aiming for 1.5 - 2 litres of non-alcoholic fluid daily.
The body uses approximately 1 - 1.5 litres a day of fluid. You have to replace that to maintain an optimum fluid and electrolyte balance. In hotter environments or if your are physically exerting yourself, you should drink more.
As for all this ounces rubbish, which century are you all living in? The world is metric. I don't understand ounces etc, neither do a lot of people.
8 ounces. and they don't count.
8 ounces... just remember 8/8. 8 glasses of 8 ounces of water a day. And no, nothing else counts towards that.
8OZ
They say 2 pints a day this can include fruit juice
Yes, 8 oz is one glass. Besides, the recommendation has recently gone up!
8 ounces
and no other drinks don't really count.
8oz, and all liquid counts, just not alcohol(it dehydrates you)
8 ounces is what your suppose to drink (8-8ounce glasses) as far as the second part, I have no idea
well your supposed to drink 56 oz
8 oz.
The whole glass theroy is based on 8 oz. And nope, the other drinks do not count.
Shot Glasses! - One after the other!
Its 2 litres. It doesnt have to be 8 glasses. If you had just one 2 litre glass of water ....now that would be useful.
These can be taken in pretty much every form since the two litres is supposed to replace how much you lose in one day. The water in your food even counts.
EDIT: Am i the only one who uses the metric system...?
8 oz ,its good to drink water but you dont have to drink 8 glasses a day,
2 pints of water/day
( 8 x 1/4 pint glasses)
Other liquid sounds O.K., but not too much fruit juice or caffeine, and avoid those fizzy diet drinks too; very bad for you!!!
M : )
8/10 oz. glasses my friend and any other liquids do not count,after a few days you will get used to it,try and drink them all early in the day like before 4pm,for obvious reasons.
8 oz. (1/2 a water bottle)
so about 4 bottles of water a day.
2 liters.
any liquid counts, but watch your calorie intake.
No,
Tea and coffee dont class as water becayse your most likley adding milk to them. But it is a known fat that drinking boiled water will help you lose weight quicker. Im pretty sure you need to drink atleast 2-3 liters of water a day in order to stay healthy.
No, tea, coffee and fruit juice doesn't contribute to your water intake. and you need 2 litres of water a day.
anything that has caffeine does not count (caffeine actually dehydrates you)
when they say 8 glasses it is 8, 8oz glasses the equivalent of 2 liters a day although you can count fruit juice as a water source I do not recommend doing this for more than 1 or 2 servings a day as they are filled with sugar,(and nothing can sub properly for a good glass of H2O) yes natural but sugar none the less
I suppose it's 250 millilitre glasses as you are suppose to drink 2 litres a day.Coffee is'nt included but I think juice is.
Usually 8 ounces. But 12 oz is even better!
I think the idea is to consume 8 glasses of water which can include fruit and herbal tea, and possibly fruit juice if mixed with water.
Actually it is quite easy to consume about 2 litres in total (including tea and coffee) the trick is not to consume 2 litres of caffeinated tea and coffee.
8 glasses of water would be about 8 x half a pint glass.
Anarchy Alchemy has it spot on, its 2 litres a day, read it on a bottle of fruit juice.
1/2 pints. And p**s like a racehorse!
Hi:
There has never been any clinical proof or any other medical proof that you have to consume 8 (8 oz) glasses of water.According to Dr. William Douglas .com. ,too much water thins your blood and depletes potassium. Yes coffee ,tea and the vegetables that you eat also counts toward your water intake. You drink water when you are thirsty.
8 OZ. or half a cup.
half a pint
8 oz or 1 cup
you should drink 64 oz a day or 1half gallon
todays lesson:
8oz = 1cup
2cup = 1pint
2pint = 1quart
2 quart = 1 half gallon
2 half gallon = 1 gallon
8oz
