Organic sodas?!
Organic sodas?
I live in Northern California and drink organic sodas.
I'm wondering if they are popular in other areas.
Organic sodas are made with "organic cane juice" instead of "high fructose corn syrup", and the two brands I drink are "Santa Cruz Organic" and "Blue Sky".

I haven't had any of the Santa Cruz sodas, but I have had Blue Sky soda several times. It's good stuff, and kudos to you for avoiding the HFCS. I'd say that Blue Sky probably has a limited market (mostly urban areas), but I wouldn't be surprised if it's sold all along the west coast.
I have had them both, the ones at Whole Food's are also delicious. They come lots of flavors (I love the orange creme & root beer) for $1.99 per 6 pak.
You should keep in mind that it is not any better for your teeth, & still should be drank moderately.
Many other mentionables: Izzy, Vitamin Waters, & Reed's ginger beer (extra strong - not really beer)

Where do you shop in northern California? I will be going to school there in a few months!
I haven't seen either of those brands in coastal Alabama, but I have seen more Italian-style sodas in the larger stores here. However, I have seen Izzy's, though I've never tried it.
If you want to make your own, you could always just buy some soda water and juice, and gently stir. Add the juice until it has the flavor you want, and then you don't have to worry as much about the damage to your teeth caused by the excess sugar. As a bonus, it's cheaper than Izzy's certainly and you can choose something you really love. I bet blueberry would be good...
I will occasionally buy some organic soda when I'm in whole foods market, but I doubt they are as popular where I am. Let me ask you this: have you ever noticed that all soy milk is labeled as organic? i have not once found one that is not labeled organic..........and I know it uses organic cane sugar, but it also has to use organic soy beans. Are all soybeans organically grown? I guess I just need to ask these questions next time....bye!
I see them only at the health store i buy my stuff. never had one though cause i don't drink much pop.
