For all those who have tried Tim Hortons and Starbucks coffee?!

Question:

For all those who have tried Tim Hortons and Starbucks coffee?

Ok, in your opinoin, what is better Tim Hortons Coffee? Or Starbucks Coffee? Please don't be biased. I need a strait answer from those who have tried both kinds.

Answers:
OK, so I am in Canada.....But there is Starbucks here too. I drink Starbucks often, but if I have the choice, is always Tim Horton's.

Tim Horton's coffee is not fresh ground so it isn't always as strong as other places like Starbucks.

However, Starbucks coffee tends to have a burnt flavor.

It really depends on how you define "better." If you like espresso based drinks like lattes and mochas you are getting the "real" thing at Starbucks and local coffee places. Tim Horton's makes the high sugar Americanized lattes and mochas.

I'm a barista (the person who makes coffee drinks at a coffee shop). I get paid to know this stuff...... Sad, isn't it?

Timmie's is the best in my opinion

I tried Horton's for the first time when I was in Detroit for a hockey tournament for my son. Quite frankly I like them better than Starbuck's. It's consistent, rich and had a good flavor with no aftertaste. I can't wait to get back to Detroit as there are none here in Illinois.

i like tim hortons coffee more, but i like starbucks latte's and frappuccinos

having been to canada last year i would say tim horten over starbucks but then i have only tryed starbucks in britain

Being a Canadian and having had both, now that Toronto has as many Starbuck as TH. It really comes down to what you put in it, TH you ask for the milk/sugar/cream, it is 18% there and having the choice of what and how much you want, and if you want to add sweetener, white sugar or my favorite "Sugar in the Raw".

Most places are the same, Coffee Time, Country Style, Robins and all the others, any place even home, buy some tinned TH and brew it at home, try it with milk/cream at home and see how you can save the money and the trip to the place.
