Does Starbucks serve any sugar-free drinks?
My mom had gastric bypass surgery in November, so she can't have anything with a lot of sugar in it. When she saw me with a my latte (which was very good, may I add) she asked if it was sugar-free. I said no, as I was pretty sure there was sugar in there somewhere. Then she asked me if Starbucks had anything that was sugar free.
I told her to go in and ask the barista about it. Even though she probably isn't in a huge hurry, I have been wondering if there is actually sugar free options.
Are there any sugar free drinks there?
Answers:
At Starbucks you have many choices to choose from. At the very least there are 3 sugar free syrups that can be added to your latte. A latte consists of steamed milk and espresso. One drink to try would be a London Fog. This consists of either regular or sugar free vanilla, earl grey tea, and steamed milk. You have your choice of whole milk, non fat milk, soy, Lactose free & half & half. You can also have a coffee or tea Misto which is brewed coffee or tea and steamed milk. You can also also ask for the drink to be half sweet to cut down on the sugar as well when syrups are being used in a drink. They also have an excellent selection of black, herbal or green tea. Ask your barista to suggest something.

Yes - a lot of them can be ordered as sugar-free. They have sugar free flavor syrups and sugar substitutes. She will have a huge selection and the staff will help her by making recommendations.
There is no sugar in a latte unless you add it or you add a syrup. All Starbucks carry Sugar Free Vanilla syrup and some carry other flavors but you should always ask.
