Water makes my mouth dry?!
Water makes my mouth dry?
I try to drink at least some water every day, we keep a case of bottled water in the house at all times. Well it's so good at first, but about halfway through a 16oz bottle it starts making my mouth really dry and ill have to put it in the fridge and grab a pop. Then when I want something else to drink I'll go finish off the water. I have no idea how water, the best drink every, could possibly dry my mouth out. Any ideas?

Yeah trust me, I definatly dont drink too much water. I probly dont drink enough. The girl who died from it drank so much that it poisoned her basically. I'll never have to worry bout that.

I don't know what could be the reason but sometimes it happens to me too. I've found that if I add a little lemon or lime juice to the water, the feeling goes away.
You shouldnt drink too much water at once it can actually harm you. It's best to spread water intake throughout the day rather than drinking it all at once.
It's funny you mention it though because about a year ago since I'm a terrible water drinker thought it would be a good idea to have water by my bed and I have found that my mouth is really dry when I wake up, much more than it used to be. hmmm...interesting thought...
there was a girl on the news last month who dies from water! dont drink to much and you always need more fluid than just water! try cranberry juice!
