Would drinking diet soda like diet pepsi or diet coke increase sodium intake?!

Question:

Would drinking diet soda like diet pepsi or diet coke increase sodium intake?

I am referrring to a diet soda consumption by one person of an average of 4 cans a day

Answers:
Most low-calorie sodas also report a low sodium level of about 40g per serving. As long as you do not go over the recommended daily allowance, you should be fine. Always remember though: water is best.

yeah it has about 35mg per can

Read the back of the can. If there is a lot of sodium in it, it will increase your intake. Duh

Sweeteners that are added to diet drinks instead of sugar are usually used in the chemical form of salt - like sodium aspartate (instead of aspartame) for example.
So yes, it does increase the intake of sodium.
