Food that contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E, they slower your aging process.

Do not smoke and smoking ruins your skin rapidly.

Chinese believe eating fish maw, shark fins, abalone, bird's nest all these food are good for skin, especially fish maw and shark fins contain full of protein and collagen. Oh.. I forget seacucumber too, it is contains a lot of collagen and is good for skin. My Chinese Doctor said, fish maw is the best for enhancing skin condition. You may buy it via this website http://www.asiachi.com/fishmaw.html...

There are many types of fish maww, and the best is from he Indian Ocean. Fish maw is rich in protein, low in fat and particularly good for the complexion. It can strengthen your back and knees and nourishes your tendons, veins and kidneys. (below is a photo of a dried fish maw)

Here is the steps of how to soak the fish maw before you cook it.

Directions:

1) Fill a large stainless steel stockpot with approximately 7 to 9 litres of water and bring to a boil, then add the dried fish maw and cover the pot and turn off the heat.
2) Do not remove the cover until the water has cooled to room temperature (just leave it overnight or at least 12 to 15 hours).
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 two more times by using fresh water each time.
4) Take the fish maw out and cut into the portions or pieces as desired. It can be kept for an extended period of time in Ziploc bags in the freezer. (If your fish maw isn't that thick or big, i.e. not so expensive one, you may just repeat the step 1 & 2 once)

Fish Maw matches with Chicken soup very well and it goes well with dried shitake mushrooms too, sometimes we braised fish maw with mushroom and oyster sauce.

The best (and easiest, AND cheapest!!) thing you can do for your skin is to drink lots of water. 8 cups a day (about 2L) and more if it's really hot out or if you're exercising.
Seriously, I started to drink water all the time a couple years ago and my skin is so much better. Less dry, less oily, and much less blemishes.

A diet rich in fruits and vegetables in addition to a healthy, balanced diet of fats and proteins will do for your skin what it does for your body―keep it looking good. Vegetables, especially raw vegetables, contain powerful antioxidants which protect the skin against exposure to free radicals in the harsh environment we live in. There isn’t any protein in a bag of potato chips and diets in fatty or junk-foods can lead to pimples and clogged pores, making the skin’s job of protecting the body more difficult. Proteins fight off pimples and strengthen the skin.
Flaxseed is great help too.

eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies and drink at least 2-3 litres of water every day. Foods that are high in essential fatty acids ( avacado, flax seeds, nuts and fish ) are just a few that help your skin retain elasticity and make it glow.

Everything you hear on TV is absolutely true. They aren't just trying to sell you something. ;))

melons and greedn leafy vegtables like spinach or romain lettuce. Look up Dr. perricone, he's got a diet that combines healthy eating and vitamins. he's usually on pbs during their drives. he's very informative.
