What are the health effect of drinking energy drinks?!

Question:

What are the health effect of drinking energy drinks?

I drink about 3 rockstars a day, and 2 cups of coffee in the mornings and I still get tired... whats wrong with me? Am I going to have heart failure or something uncool because of this excess caffeine? Also I'm 16, female about 140 pounds.

Answers:
I highly recommend that you STOP drinking that much caffeine.

At most you should be having 300mg a day.

Rockstars have about 150mg of caffeine each.
An average cup of coffee has about 100mg of caffeine.

Although there have been studys that show that a little caffeine is good for you, do not drink alot, because this is destroying your body.

Yes..your brain and body are so out off wack it has adjusted to the high caffenie intake that it will just keep giving it higher and higher until your heart runs so fast...it comes to a hault. Your burning out your body from forcing it to run on high speed 24/7..better break the habit.

energy drinks and coffee are quick energy.the sugar gives you quick energy then burns it out. i think you should not drink as much energy drinks or coffee.

stop drinking it . take time to sleep. that stuff is so unhealthy to your body.sooner or later you are going to ave trouble especially at this age no sixteen year old should have that many energy drinks.all you need to do is eat healthy food like: fruits& vegetables, and drink plenty of water. it will do u good. and excirecise.

I don't know the exact health effects of energy drinks, but i can certainly say all of that caffeine is not in any way healthy.Id get away from it altogether if I were you.

research caffiene addiction, you'd be much better off drinking plenty of water, what youre made of the most. Try ginseng or ginkgo biloba teas, they'll pick you up and jumpstart your BrAiN! Also, I always used to drink SoBe drinks they are super yummy and about the same price as the ones your drinking infused with different herbs and supplements, you can buy em' at any cornerstore.. http://www.sobebev.com/gateway_flash.htm...
