How can you stop it?

Yep. I hate it when the tea sort of dribbles down outside of the spout.

No.....I hate tea and coffee :)

no, I have an anti-drip attachment on it.

like too see someone else still uses a teapot....No mine doesn't drip, your not getting it at the correct angle....could say typical man....but won't, who cares if it drips, just enjoy....

No, I use teabags and a single mug

yes when i had cheapofied tea pot,

Yes, and it's bloody annoying!

I have yet to find a way of stopping it though *growls*

Get a clean, soft dish towel, or cotton terry towel and fold it into quarters, then use it to cradle the bottom/ bottom front of the teapot as you pour, that way you have greater control of the pot, you will not burn yourself in the process and towel will catch any spill over down the sides or from the spout of the pot while you pour. Rinse towel or wash with a little dishwashing liquid. I use a white towel, so that I can bleach out the tea or coffee stains. Hang dry or tumble.

I have a collection of about 18 teapots and I have found some teapots do this and some don't. It seems to be due to how the spout is shaped. I'm sorry but my best advice is to get a different teapot. Maybe look at the teapots of your family and friends to find a design that doesn't drip and then get one like it. Good luck and happy tea drinking!

Not anymore. I touch the cup first and when the tea star pouring I lift the pot away from the cup. Voila!

i use a stainless steel kettle and a gas stove to boil my water. When I make teas that require boiling water, I can't help it splatter all over the place since the kettle is super hot also. So what I do is put the mug in the sink and pour away. I set the timer and pick up the mug...that's how i do it.

I had one of those and it drove me mad, I either had to keep mopping up or pour very slowly, then I bought a new teapot with a longer curvy no-drip spout - no problem now and two full cups of tea.

My new teapot has a spout that starts near the bottom, curves a little then goes up almost level with the top of pot then curves a little out.
