Boiling Teapots?
I Let my teapot boiled and I totally forget and I was terrifed i finally turn off the electric and turn on the air fan open all the window then I filled the stank with cold water to the top then took the kitchen glove to pick up the teapot and put in the stank with cold water let it cool off Wondering did I do the right things I check the alarm it didn't come on so am I save???

1. how long did you let the teapot boil?
2. you didn't do the right thing. you should never put a boiling hot teapot into a stank of cold water. the instant cooling is not good for the teapot.
3. if the alarm didn't come on, did you set it in the beginning? is it spoiled? or did the teapot not get to boil at all?
there is too little information for me to give you an answer... i don't want to give an answer based on assumption...
You are supposed to boil the jug and not the tea pot and what is a stank ?
