Depends on the drinker. Some find that peppermint tea is great for settling an upset stomach. If you have heartburn, peppermint tea probably isn't very good for you. Tea (all flavors) is supposed to be very good source of anti-oxidants, and a lower source of caffeine than coffee, so if peppermint doesn't work out, there's another flavor that will give you the benefits you seek.
