Answers:
Just don't drink it!

Try a little self control!

Common sense

there's bound to be some medication to help.

Is there a Sodaholics Anonymous?

Stop buying it... go for the water instead or Dasani has a good rasperry flavored water.

think of the way they put 7 spoons of sugar in there...and dont buy it :P

drink water or juice

Put a sign on your forehead that says if you sell me soda I will die!

Quit cold turkey.....water is the best thing for you.

Are under some magical spell where you can't even control your own body? If so.. you're screwed!

If not, it's actually pretty easy.

See that soda sitting there? Don't drink it.

Just start grabbing for something else. I use to be a big caffeine addict and wanted to quit. To go cold turkey is so painful I just started to mix non caffeine pop in w/ the mix. Now it is all I drink.

Buy some small OJ's or milks or something and put them in there where the pop is. When you want a pop, grab one of them instead. I would wean slowly or headaches and stuff can occur.

Every time you are about to drink soda, drink two or three glasses of water instead so that you don't feel thirsty anymore.

Just don't buy it... the money comes out of your pocket and you pick it up and consume it. Just grab a gatorade or ice tea instead.

Every time you drink a soda, drink an equal amount of water. Pretty soon, you just won't want the soda anymore.

I have been of sodas since the beginning of the year, I get bored with just plain water. I like Crystal Light and Sugar free Kool-Aid, and both have several varieties of flavors and are very low in calories. Good luck!

Just don't buy it, and keep a good supply of water around. Sooner or later you'll get use to substitute water for the soda.

try propel water,it is bomb if you have never tried it,and it comes in a bunch of different flavors and quite honestly you feel fabulous after you pump that thru your system for about 3 days......good for you for getting off the soda it is such garbage, you will feel so much better with out it.

maybe....... but water in a coke can and pretend it is soda
lol it might work

If you are really a soda-aholic I suggest you start lowering your intake day by day. ie: if you normally have a 16oz soda with every meal make it an 8oz soda instead. The next day, substitute soda for Crystal light or water with lemon in one of your meals. Then replace soda all together, you can allow yourself a little soda once in a while --if you are trying to lose weight try diet soda. For example, anytime I drink soda it has to be diet and I only drink it with certain meals/foods like with pizza or popcorn --which are not every day or every week foods. This way I don't feel soda deprived. Hope it helps!

I don't know how you should stop drinking it, but i do know that your kidneys will be affected, my cousin needs a transplant, because they are not working, she never drinks water only soda

Well there is no easy way because I keep trying to quit but you should just started limiting your sodas per day or week and then after you've limited it to 1 per week or two weeks switch it to sparkling flavored water because its still got that bubbly feeling. After that it should be easy to switch from that to just flavored water. You should let me know if it works.

this is found on the tops of soda cans due to dried rat urine.....think about that while your drinking a soda....recently a woman died from this infection only 2 days after being admitted to hospital

I was a soda junkie all of my life (I am 28 now) and I just quit sodas cold turkey. I am drinking tons of water and white tea. I still get a little caffeine burst from the tea but I am not spiked all day. Plus, I think I've lost about 8 pounds in the last two weeks, so bonus! (How's that for motivation?)

I use to drink Pop all the time then i realized that i didnt want to drink it no more...so everytime i ate i would drink some type of juice or tea with it and since then i havent been drinking pop at all...one day i did try pop because i was carving it and i drank some and it was nasty...i wouldnt think it would be nasty but it was so now i only drink tea or juice

drink a lot of juice and water u can't just wake up one day and quit it will take you some time and effort and after a while you'll get use to it. keep yourself from buying any soda because a soda at home is a strong temptation.

i think you can replace it with crystal light and alot of ice because i quick drinking soda and thats what helped me because unfortunatly i hate water !

i hate pop i hardly ever drink it. drink mi lk and lemonade and juice and water they are the best but milk is the very best

Honestly, I still drink a fair amount of soda, but that's only because I continue to purchase it when the grocery store has it on sale. Those times it's not in the house, I drink water. I bought a water bottle from flylady.net and I love the thing, I carry it with me everywhere so it's always right there if I want a sip of water. I tried to drink adequate amounts of water before I bought this water bottle and it just seems so much easier since I bought it. It was like $10 and sooo worth it, especially if you've tried everything under the sun and are on your last nerve looking for an answer! :)

i used to be addicted to coke .....the best way to quite is to go for something else instead ...
believe me after a couple of weeks you'll feel that soda tastes weird !!

you cant, dont even try.

Give yourself a good reason to quit. For me, the reason is that I have a heart condition that is worsened by caffeine. Find an incentive.
