What's the difference between Sprite and 7up?!

Question:

What's the difference between Sprite and 7up?

And I don't mean the packaging, the company, or the ads. I'm talking about the flavor, ingredients, all that. + You might get the best answer if you give me statistics. ;D

Answers:
They do taste the same, but there is a slite difference. Sprite has more of a lime taste going on. And 7up is more fizzing and a little less of the lime flavor, the type of drink you would drink with an upset stomach. For more info go here

There is nothing, its just that coke cola owns Sprite, and Pepsi owns 7up.

I THINK they not different from each other, even the taste but different company.

I don't know about ingredients, but diet sprite tastes as close to 7up as you can get. That is if you can't find 7up anywhere , which is impossible to find where I live.

OTHER THEN PUT OUT BY 2 DIFFERENT COMPANY'S SPRITE CONTAINS LEMON AND CITRIC ACID WHERE AS 7 UP DOESN'T.ALSO SPRITE HAS NO CAFFINE WHERE 7 UP DOES.

3 letter's

Sprite has more taste.

Sprite seems to be a little sweeter. I am not sure if it is from more sugars in the syrup or less acids. But it is a little bit sweeter and almost "flat" tasting. Sprite is a Coke product, 7-UP is from the Dr.Pepper/7-UP Bottling Company. Sierra Mist, the Pepsi lemon lime, is my favorite, it is a mix between the two. Not as sweet as Sprite and not as alka-seltzer as 7-UP.

7up does not have caffeine

FOR the record, neither has caffeine. Sprite is slightly sweeter, 7-Up is fizzier and more citrusy ("now withall-natural flavors!!!"). Both diet versions go flat about ten minutes after you open them, but the 7-Up tastes better after said time period. 7-Up mixes better with alcohol. But Sprite has a prettier can, and is usually cheaper!

7up
Up has been reformulated several times since its launch in 1929; in 2006, the U.S. version underwent another reformulation, becoming "100% Natural" with five ingredients: "filtered carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, natural citric acid, natural flavors, natural potassium citrate".[1] However, classifying this product as "100% Natural" is problematic as high fructose corn syrup is manufactured by using enzymes that convert corn starch into sugar. (Starch is made up of multiple sugar molecules that have been linked together.) It should also be noted that this is not the case in other countries, such as the United Kingdom, where high fructose corn syrup is not generally used in foods, including 7UP. In 2007, after the CSPI threatened to sue 7 Up, it was announced that 7 Up would stop being marketed as "100% Natural". It is now marketed instead as having "100% Natural Flavors".

Sprite is slightly sweeter than 7up and is less on the citrus taste with a higher sodium content. Sprite also has less carbonation so it goes down easier than 7up.
