I have nausea/upset stomach, would drinking orange juice help it or make it worse? (Not exactly orange juice, but the orange Tampico Juice to be exact.)
Answers:
worse. drink warm or hot chicken broth
No, an upset stomach usually means there is too much acid in the stomach, orange juice is citrus acid, you'll probably make it worse.
Drink a glass of milk.
try 7 Up or Chamomile Tea trust me it helps
it'll make it worse, because it is acidic which is bad for nausea! try a baking soda with water sollution (search it at google.com) or bananas, white rice, or burnt and cooled toast.
I always drank room temperature ginger ale. Sip it though dont chug it. Along with some dry toast.
no, dont drink that crap! tahts probably why you have a stomace ache. Drink Pepsi, or Coke, or something fizzy like that.
No Juices, especially acidic ones. I agree with broth, but there is also the tried and true Ginger Ale or 7-up. (Ask any woman with morning sickness.)
No don't drink it. Juices tend to cleanse your body. You may get diarrhea. Ewww. Dry toast and crackers help ease nausea. Try some peptobismol.
Have as much (3-4 glasses) lukewarm water. Go to the loo. Put your middle finger in your mouth deep enough for it to touch your throat. You would be able to vomit out and clean up your stomach,(repeat if still having nausea) and the effects of relief would be immediate as the culprit would be removed.
Oh..
Drink raw sugar in hot water, as much as possible, make it quite saturated. You can add cocoa, or coffee, but be sure your sugar is raw..
And drinking cabbage juice (try to add milk so that it won't taste that bad..) can also help in bad stomachs.. =D
Just take 1/4 tsp of baking soda--- wash it down with lots of water--- and stay away from sodas or orange juice-- milk is great too.
don't go near it, all brand of orange juice i mean, because it will make you worse..
if you want to drink juice, then you can make yourself a glass of blended banana, strawberries and green grapes...
light meal like a warm soup and a piece of bread.... try to keep your stomach as light as possible for to days
hope you will get better soon
No, that would make it worse- it has too much acidity. Try small sips of warm 7up.
How to Calm an Upset Stomach Naturally
STEP 1: Drink a mixture of 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda stirred well and dissolved in a 1/2 glass of water to relieve the rumble of acid indigestion or heartburn. Drink the mixture quickly and repeat in two hours, if needed. Adults under 60 can safely do this up to seven times in one 24-hour period. STEP 2: Eat a banana. Bananas soothe the stomach and counteract the acids that cause upset stomach. They are also easily digested and can help to ease diarrhea. STEP 3: Drink strong ginger ale or tea, or chew on a piece of candied ginger to relieve nausea. In China, ginger has been used to treat upset stomach for 2,000 years. STEP 4: Drink peppermint tea. Peppermint calms the muscles of the stomach. STEP 5: Relax. Take a warm bath, lie down and listen to music, curl up with a good book. Let go of stress in a way that works for you. STEP 6: Avoid foods and drinks that may cause upset stomach or gas. Some of these are coffee, onions, cauliflower, chocolate, fried foods and baked beans. Tips & Warnings
