Is it true that green tea helps you lose weight?!

Question:

Is it true that green tea helps you lose weight?

Answers:
Scientific research suggests that green tea has potent fat-burning properties.

Green tea, which has been reported to have anticancer properties and to raise levels of antioxidants in the blood that may ward off heart disease, now appears to have the potential to promote weight loss. A new study in the March issue of the International Journal of Obesity concludes that green tea extract increases the burning of calories and fat needed to lose weight.

it does have some strong antioxidents that will help boost your metabolism but that doesnt mean you can just sit around eating junk and expect the tea to lose the weight for you becuz it just kick starts it but you will need to drink quite a bit...maybe at least 3 cups a day, not strong and you need to get the kind that comes in the tea bag and drink it hot

hope this helps =]
