Virgin margaritas?!

Question:

Virgin margaritas?

ok, so i know: whats the point of a margarita with no alcohol right? well anyway im 14 and want to make a mango (or other flavor, im open to options) margarita, well kinda more like slushy. i keep messing it up. i will put mango juice in a blender with ice...and for some reason (maybe b/c my blender doesn't work well) it wont blend and ends up being disgusting.
so do you have any suggestions or recipes for me?

Answers:
I guess get margarita mix, add you favorite juice flavors, crushed ice, salt around the rim if you prefer, and enjoy.

Crush the ice in the blender, then add frozen yogurt, ice cream or regular yogurt and the juice.

well if your blender is on the fritz nothing will work out that well, i suggest the magic bullet its small like a blender, and it sounds like right now you are making more of a sorbet which is still really good, for what you want add a lot of ice blend than shake blend again if necessary add water or juice i also suggest adding real fruit pieces good luck!

FIRST FILL GLASS WITH ICE, PUT MANGO JUICE,AND LEMON JUICE AND A LITTLE SUGAR,BLEND IT SHOULD COME OUT PERFECT...........NAMASTE

1/2 ounce lemonade
1/2 ounce lime juice
1 1/2 ounce sour mix
This is the basic virgin margarita recipe.

I don't know about a margarita but my g/f makes a mean daiquiri (strawberry) instead of all ice she uses orange sherbet with just a lil ice and the strawberry daiquiri mix.
Instead of Orange sherbet you can use pineapple sherbet or any other sherbet. Fresh bananas or strawberries are a nice touch too.

Virgin Mango Margarita

1 (16 ounce) Frozen Sliced Mangoes
1/3 cup Frozen Lemonade
1 1/2 cup water
8 slices lime

1. Combine frozen sliced mangoes, frozen limeade and water in a food processor bowl. Process the mango mixture for one minute until the mixture is smooth and frosty.
2. Divide the Mango Margarita into 8 margarita glasses and garnish with a lime slice.

Non-Alcoholic Recipes
2 tablespoons kosher (coarse) salt
1/2 lime, cut into 4 wedges
1 can (6 ounce size) frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1/4 cup orange juice
4 cups ice cubes

Place the salt in a shallow dish. Rub the rim of each of 4 margarita glasses with a lime wedge and dip the rims into the salt; set the lime wedges aside.

In a blender, blend the limeade, orange juice, and ice cubes on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes, or until well blended and the ice cubes are crushed.

Pour evenly into the glasses and garnish with the lime wedges. Serve immediately.
