What is your favorite coffee, and your favorite manufacturer of it?
Do you like flavored or regular, Folgers or Eight o clock? The reason I ask is because I am always looking for good coffee and I was wondering if there is one I have overlooked.
Answers:
I don't have a fave. I typically purchase Wal-Mart's brand of coffee, but for all I know Folgers or Maxwell House may make it..generic food products are often made by big name companies but the ingredients are usually not premium (like the stuff they put their name on) and they dont' put their name on it so it can be sold for less.
I have tried one of Folger's flavored coffee's (it was chocolate) and was surprised that it actually had a chocolate flavor. In the past when I've tried "flavored" coffees of any kind, they would have a great aroma, but tasted like plain coffee.
I also dig a good cup of Starbuck's but I don't buy their ground coffee or beans...only drinks at their stores or occasional bottled coffee beverages at the supermarket.
I do enjoy my coffee though and am having some this morning. I buy the sugar free Davinci syrups to give it flavor. I can have caramel, vanilla, or kahlua flavored all out of the same pot of coffee. ?
Lavazza Gold.
Maxwell House French Roast. We used to drink Folgers but it got too bland. We tried cheaper brands but they all tasted terrible. Once a month we use a single pot packet of flavored coffee to break the monotony. But never instant.
It doesn't matter what brand as long as it is 100% Columbian coffee. It's the best.
a Dunkins Hazelnut hot i good. ive tried my girlfriends iced coffee and it sucks
I like a bold coffee, A french roast is good. I do alot of Starbucks, but at times I buy beans from local stores and grind them myself, Uusually a dark bean: Sumatra, or some chocolate blend, or a caribbean/so Amer blend.
I like my coffee hot, so I am no help with iced coffees unless it is aMocha Frap from Starbucks with an extra shot of espresso, No Whip.

The organic Sumatra from Javana. It is absolutely wonderful and because it is free trade certified you also get the feeling of having done something good for somebody.
