What's the best way to transport Jello?!

Question:

What's the best way to transport Jello?

Going on a trip,
Taking Jello,
4 hour drive.

Plain ice good enough, or dry ice?

Answers: I'm not sure why but this question just makes me giggle.
I guess it depends on your container but certainly use one with a snap on tightly sealed lid! I would then put the container in a cooler on ice, plain ole ice. i'd say regular ice in a cooler. make sure jello is in a container that is tightly sealed. jello is not a product is good for travel unless you get those jello pudding/regular already prepared in the little cups they have been treated to with stand the climates other than the fridge. so if you have to have jello dont make it yourself in the long run it will not last no matter what kind of ice you use Leave it in the box and make it at the end of the trip. Regular ice packed around the Jello and placed into an ice chest, if you have a lid for your container then use it and pile ice on top as well. If you use dry ice you will freeze your jello sold and it will take another 4 hours to thaw out. I suggest that after you make your jello, leave it in the original mold (im assuming that you're making a molded jello dessert and not just cups or diced up jello). Put lidded mold/container in a cooler with ice surrounding it. Dont open the cooler for the duration of the trip to make sure that the "coldness" of the cooler is kept constant. Also, if you have those blue ice packs, pack some in along with the ice. This makes for an 'extended cold' after the ice melts in the cooler. Good luck!!
