Answers: Pizzas are round because the original pizza was made with hand thrown dough. Hand thrown dough comes out sorta' round. Today pizza dough is rolled by a machine then cut with a really big cookie cutter. Pizza boxes are square because it is significantly less expensive to make square or rectangular boxes than round ones. good point .. im starring this question lol =D pizzas can be square too
... so i guess the real question is why is a boxing RING a square? so little fat kids and learn their shapes to make the pizza look bigger Square boxes are cheaper to make.
