I dont understand! whats the difference between whipping creme and whipped creme like cool-whip?

Answers: Whipping creme is usually a fresh heavy cream in liquid form and you have to beat it in order to get that fluffy consistency. It isn't sweetened. Cool whip is pre-sweetened and pre-whipped and has additives to make it stay that consistency.

You can make your own fresh whipped cream by whipping heavy cream with a whisk attachment of a mixer on high speed and sweetening it yourself. Whipping creme I think is heavier than whipped creme. Whipped cream is what whipping cream becomes after you whip it. Whipping creme hasn't been whipped yet...you have to do it. It's like really heavy cream. Whipped cream already done been whipped for you.....YeeeeHaw! If it is real whip cream then there is no difference. If it is a whip topping then there is no creme in it. Whipping cream hasn't been whipped yet. whipping cream is to be whipped and whipped cream is already whipped. Except cool-whip isn't made from cream, it all fake stuff! Some recipes call for heavy cream and that is the same as whipping cream, only you don't whip it unless it says to! Whipping Cream is made from well whipping cream. The thick part of the cream that is left over from milk.

Cool whip is made from water and corn syrup and sugar.

Thats your only difference. Well that and taste. Taste!

Cool whip has added ingredients like sugar, oil and preservatives.

Whipping cream is just that. Cream that you whip.

I prefer to use whipping cream. I can flavor it as I choose. "WHIPPING CREME", is a solution that needs tobe rapidly mixed into a "WHIPPED CREME". "WHIPPED CREME is per mixed... Whipping cream is in a carton and needs to be beaten or whipped to aerate the liquid until it it light enough to form peaks. You'll find it in the grocery store near milk and cream.

Cool whip is not a dairy product. The air has already been introduced as the product is manufactured. You can use it as a substitute for whipped cream when using it as a topping or it can be used in recipes if cool whip is listed.

If your recipe calls for whipping cream, the recipe might be using it in its original state, before it is whipped. Cool Whip is made of water, corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oil(CPKO), sodium caseinate, vanilla extract, xanthan and guar gums, polysorbate 60(glycosperse), and beta carotene.[1] In some markets, Cool Whip is available in an aerosol can using nitrous oxide as a propellant.(Canada)[2]

According to a recent Wired Magazine article, consumers are paying 41 cents per ounce for mostly water and air; twice the cost of homemade whipped cream.

Whipping cream is the natural stuff that comes from a cow.

Moo whipping creme is the mix you use to make your own whip cream . 1. put the cream in a mixing bowl and start mixing with a electric mixer , add vanilla extract ( a few drops ) and about a 1/4 cup of sugar . mix it until it peeks ( firms up ) . It's a heck of alot better then cool whip . creame is bad for you, it makes you fat and clogs arteries

cool whip is non dairy so its totally healthy, even the people who make it don't know what its really made of though

its like all purpose stuff, can be a lube, a floor wax, food, shampoo, whatever you need it for, careful of the propellant though, for several reasons
