Can you help me identify a favorite cookie from the 1960s?!

Question:

Can you help me identify a favorite cookie from the 1960s?

I am looking for the name of cocoa-colored cookies that have chocolate frosting in the center, sort of like the opposite of Oreos. This cookie was distinguished by a scalloped edge, and they were DELICIOUS!! Anybody got any information? I've checked "the usual suspects" sites like Nabisco and Keebler. I'm not sure if this cookie is even made anymore. I enjoyed it as a kid in the 60s. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found it! It was Burry's Fudgetown. But, thanks for all the help. Pepperidge Farm makes a chocolate filled cookie with scalloped edges...I just don't remember what they're called. gosh, i was born in the early 70's and that cookie does kinda sound familiar. it was a chocolate swirl type cookie that had a chocolate/fudge cream center? i think i remember it, but can't call out the name or the company that made it, sorry. I am not positive but I think they were called penefores.. or pin wheels.. I remember them and you are correct.. they were very good.. not sure of the spelling but penefores or penifores is pretty close.. good luck
