Is it okay to eat a hotdog without boiling it?!

Question:

Is it okay to eat a hotdog without boiling it?

Answers: i heard it wasnt but i have been eating them cold since i was a child and im in my twenties now and it has never hurt me. but if your still unsure just do it every once in a while. I eat them uncooked all the time and so far no problems. yeah i do it all the time i let them defrpst before i eat them plain.te best yummiest way is when its raw Yes, if it is a normal packaged hot-dog and not one you bought on the street in Germany that is uncooked. Most dogs are pre-cooked. the ones we get are precooked meat i think so they come from the factories fully cooked so all you have to do is heat them up if you want to....so yea its fine yup I'm diabetic so I have to watch my sugars including carbohydrates. I buy quality hot dogs with 1 or less grams of carbohydrates per dog. I use them for snacks and almost always eat them uncooked. I have been doing so for 5 or 6 years and I have never had any sort of problem that I could attribute to the hot dogs.

So as far as I am concerned the short answer is YES, it is okay. yep. Hot Dogs are pre-cooked. Boiling or heating them up is just because a lot of people prefer them cooked. It is for me. Either raw since I was a kid, and now I just nuke it for 23 seconds. It's processed and cooked already, so it's no biggee. yes......If the item is frozen or refrigerated, it usually has to be precooked unless stated on the box or bag.......I ate a hot dog today, and it was newked by the microwave It is OK. All commercially prepared hot dogs are pre-cooked THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN EAT THEM,IF I COOK THEM FIRST THEY MAKE ME SICK,WEIRD ISN'T.. Hot dogs are fully cooked, so it isn't necessary to heat them up. do you mean raw?
you can do it but expext to make several trip to the restroom a few hours later yes...good with ketchup too
they're already parboiled cooked to begin with...boiling them just warms them to finish yes, hotdogs are precooked. Think of everything that a hot dog is made out of...now think about eating it. its ok my kids like them that way lol
